Visit to the Blessed Sacrament
My Lord Jesus Christ, who for love of men remain day and night in this Sacrament, full of pity and of love, awaiting, calling and welcoming all who come to visit you: I believe you are present in the Sacrament of the altar; I adore you from the depths of my unworthiness; I thank you for the many graces you have given me, especially the gift of yourself in this Sacrament, the gift of your most holy Mother Mary for my advocate, and the call to visit you in this church.
I now greet your most loving Heart, and intend to do so for three ends: first, in thanksgiving for this great gift; second, to make reparation for all the outrages which you receive in this Sacrament from your enemies; third, to adore you, by this visit, in every place upon earth where you abide sacramentally and where you are least honoured and most abandoned.
My Jesus, I love you with my whole heart. I am sorry for having so often offended your infinite goodness. I purpose, with the help of your grace, never more to offend you. And now, wretched as I am, I consecrate myself wholly to you; I give you my entire will, all my affections, all my desires, and all that I have. Henceforth dispose of me and all that is mine according to your pleasure.
All I ask of you is your holy love, final perseverance, and the perfect accomplishment of your will. I commend to you the souls in Purgatory, especially those most devoted to the Most Holy Sacrament and to the Virgin Mary; I also commend to you all poor sinners. Finally, my dear Saviour, I unite all my affections with those of your most loving Heart, and so united I offer them to your eternal Father, beseeching him, in your name, to accept them. Amen.
