Mary, Help of Christians

O Mary, Virgin most powerful,
great and renowned defender of the Church;
wondrous Help of Christians;
terrible as an army set in battle array:
you alone destroyed every heresy in the world;
deliver us in anguish, struggle, and peril
from enemies visible and invisible,
and scatter every error against Catholic truth.

O most loving Mother,
in our life, and especially at the hour of our death,
deign to keep us firm in faith,
fervent in hope,
persevering in charity,
so that, overcoming every temptation,
we may forever contemplate, in the heavenly homeland,
the glory of your divine Son. Amen.
