Chaplet of the Holy Wounds

Pray on an ordinary rosary. Begin with the Sign of the Cross.

On the large beads (instead of the Our Father), pray:

Eternal Father, I offer you
the Wounds of Our Lord Jesus Christ
to heal those of our souls.

On the small beads (instead of the Hail Mary), pray:

My Jesus, pardon and mercy,
through the merits of your Holy Wounds.

At the end of the five decades: repeat three times:

My Jesus, pardon and mercy,
through the merits of your Holy Wounds.

Conclude with the prayer:

Let us pray. Eternal Father, deign to look upon your Son, Jesus Christ, present in your hands; by the merits of his Holy Wounds, by the precious Blood he shed on Calvary, hear us: forgive us our sins, save the dying, free from Purgatory the souls of the departed, make us all belong wholly to you, and grant us one day eternal joy in heaven. Amen.
