Act of Spiritual Communion
My Jesus, I believe that you are truly present in the Most Holy Sacrament of the altar.
I love you above all things, and I desire to receive you into my soul.
Since I cannot at this moment receive you sacramentally, come at least spiritually into my heart.
I embrace you as if you were already there, and I unite myself wholly to you; never permit me to be separated from you. Amen.

Iesu mi, credo te in Sanctissimo Eucharistiæ Sacramento vere præsentem esse. Te super omnia diligo et desidero te in animam meam recipere. Cum nunc te sacramentaliter recipere non possim, vel saltem spiritualiter in cor meum venias. Et quasi iam veneris, te amplector ac totus tibi me unio; ne permittas ut a te umquam separer. Amen.
